There's nothing more exciting to us than a blank canvas.
It goes without saying that clients often have an idea of what they'd like to see come out of the branding process, and of course have input throughout, but starting with a blank canvas really allows us to get our creative juices flowing.
As good looking as Blackthorn's timber products are, there has to be more to the look & feel of the brand than just windows. Cue an itinerary-planned photoshoot using our professional photography service, to capture some 'lifestyle' shots as well as more standard product shots.
Another photoshoot was arranged to develop a range of adverts based on what had become an extremely successful advert in the press and glossy magazines. The result was a range of adverts covering each of the 4 seasons. Rumour has it that other businesses go to advertise in certain newspapers and magazines, they ask for their advert to look 'like the Blackthorn advert'!
So, we've seen Blackthorn from logo to stationery to website to advertising. There's been a good deal of consultancy throughout, and as well as ongoing print work, we continue to manage the website and emails.
Our principle project for this brand now is search engine optimisation. It's an ongoing process but results so far have been excellent, with Blackthorn being found at the top of the results for many different key words & phrases such as timber windows northumberland.
