The internet is a funny old place... on one hand it's quick & easy, and provides pretty much any piece of information you need. On the other hand however, it's an impersonal place where 'tangible' means nothing.
When buying clothes on the web, the shopping experience must make up for the lack of ability for the customer to touch & feel. And that's where good imagery and providing the extra mile touch come in.
During the web design phase of this project, each and every product in Almost Unwearoutable's collection was professionally photographed and indexed, and many many hours of Photoshop work was undertaken to colour tint photographs to give the customer the opportunity to change the colour view without changing the actual photograph or product angle.
The results are fantastic! Website visitors simply need to click a colour to view a large example and prepare the 'add to basket' form.
Of course there's much more to the website than just colour selection, so please have a look at Almost Unwearoutable knitwear.
The next phase is a good course of search engine optimisation and web marketing, and that process has just begun. We'll keep you posted.
